(Lander, WY) – Lander Valley High School announced this summer that John Rounds would once again take the reins of the Tigers’ varsity football program. The longtime Lander educator previously served as head coach from 2014-2017. John Scott took over from 2018-2022, followed by Jim Burton for the past three seasons. Partially for his own comfort, but mainly to enjoy golf year-round. His journey through school and career eventually took him to Utah, Nevada, Arizona and Oklahoma. The event headliner is a grueling 131 mile race that puts competitors on a journey through diverse Wyoming landscape.
