Now in the final chapter of the book of Exodus, the book reaches its climax. The children of Israel have been delivered from Egyptian bondage and they have been commanded to build the Tabernacle. All of the construction is now completed. All of the furnishings are made. And something unexpected happens. God's glory fills this mobile worship tent.

After all the preparations, it is finally here. It is time to actually construct the Tabernacle. God had given specific directions. The people gave with exceeding generosity. God had placed His Spirit on the builders. The people simply obeyed and the construction phase begins.

God does not want to travel with the children of Israel into the Promised Land. So Moses once again intercedes.
