This month we played 9 different Robert Yang games and oh boy did we have a good time talking about these free micro games. I (Faden) was ecstatic to get the other hosts to play these games. Zipper Merging is back! We played Slid Studios 2021 Northern Journey. Come close to the fire as a doppelganger priest does the worm, spiders stalk you in the woods, ghosts haunt you in a glacier, while every single NPC looks like they are possessed by Satan. It was a fantastic discussion. We wander through the fog, dodging the flesh pterodactyls, and getting an officer’s service weapon all in search of our mysterious missing daughter. We played 1999’s Silent Hill by Konami all while sharing a controller and space. This was our yearly Couch Episode! Out of the two games we done this for, Silent HIll was far and away the best one yet. This month we hunker down in our homes and maybe let night time visitors in. We played Trioskaz’s No I’m Not a Human. The game explores questions of visual appearance and the biases we bring to it. It is a mixed bag month as half of the cast is very high and this game while the other half was left wanting. While I may consider this to be the weakest of the games we played this year, we have a great time talking about it. Note: Dale’s microphone had an audio issue so after the 01:43:00 mark his voice will sound different since I had to amplify his voice from other microphones. No clue why that happened. It's the 4th month of the year and we have all 4 hosts of Club Flashpoint! At this point Max (he/him) is fully subsumed by the podcast and we are glad to have him.
