We pray to be heard by God, not to be seen by men. God isn't impressed by the length or eloquence of our prayers, but by our hearts. Since God already knows, why should we pray? 1. Thankfulness is an action and it requires my choosing. Thankfulness is a duty for those who believe. Thankfulness is independent of my circumstances because of his goodness. Thankfulness destroys pride and builds humility. Thankfulness is a gateway to joy happiness and blessing. Thankfulness is a salve for sorrows. Be thankful to God for the great things He has done, He is doing, He has promised to do.
