Acts 2:1-21 - We naturally gather around the people, perspectives, and experiences that feel most familiar to us, often confusing familiarity with true unity. At Pentecost, the Spirit moves beyond those boundaries, creating a people bound together not by sameness, but by the life of Christ shared across every barrier. Luke 24:44-53 - As Jesus is lifted up, the disciples are left staring into the sky, as if something essential has been lost. Yet this moment reveals not absence but a new reality of Christ’s reign and ongoing work. The risen Christ is not found in holding onto where he was, but in joining what he is now doing. John 14:15-21 - The fear beneath the disciples questions is that they will be left on their own.Jesus promises a presence that will remain with them, closer than they expect. John 14:1-14 - The disciples want clarity about where Jesus is going and how to get there. Instead of offering directions, Jesus gives himself as the way into the life of God. John 10:1-10 - Many voices compete to lead, guide, and define what is true and good. Jesus describes a different kind of knowing, rooted not in force or persuasion but in relationship. Luke 24:13-35 - The disciples search for understanding, trying to make sense of what has happened and where it all went wrong. John 20:1-18 - On the first day of the week, while it is still dark, God raises Jesus from the dead, breaking the power of death and beginning new creation. John 4:5–42 - The Samaritan woman raises an old debate about the correct mountain for worship. Jesus responds by revealing a worship rooted not in geography but in Spirit and truth.
